This month, Arab Academy is featuring Viselina Kseniya from Russia. Viselina joined our classroom program in Cairo for 4 weeks. Read on to hear about her experience learning Arabic..
Why did you choose to learn Arabic?
I decided to learn Arabic because I like Arab countries and people, and want to know it better and without language, I couldn’t do that.
Why did you choose to learn at Arab Academy?
Because my teacher of Arabic recommended me this place.
How has learning Arabic impacted your life?
With Arabic I can travel and explore new Arab countries. Also, knowledge of Arabic is the great opportunity to find interesting job.
Has Arab Academy changed or impacted your life in any other way? If so, how?
Arab Academy gifted me new friends and knowledge. It’s amazing.
How Arab Academy is unique compared to other language centers/ online courses you have tried?
I like the method of teaching when we begin with new words and then during the next lessons, we introduce them. So, you remember the new words better. And everyday homework also helps to remember new information.
What would you tell someone who is interested in learning Arabic, but hasn’t yet tried it out?
I would tell someone who is interested in Arabic that he or she should be ready that it’s a difficult language and you need time and patience to learn it. But you shouldn’t be ashamed to speak with people. Don’t be a shamed of your accent and mistake. People help you and encourage you:) and do all homework! Because it’s the best way to remember new topic and words.
All instructors were amazing! I give them 5 stars for every point:)
They were very patient and friendly. Sometimes you can’t understand some words or expressions but all of them find the right words to explain it to you.
