US State School: Western Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School
The Western Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School is Pennsylvania's only comprehensive K-12 online state school. In a unique international collaborative effort, the Western Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School has added the Arab Academy's basic Arabic courses to its course offerings. The WPCCS offers traditional language courses via the online program, however Middle Eastern languages had been unavailable until the cyber school until a partnership agreement was reached with the Arab Academy in November 2000.
The WPCCS is a public school opened to any school aged resident in the state and has operated since August 2000. The school has expanded to meet the educational needs of approximately 500 students from 102 school districts throughout Pennsylvania. Because of the charter status, there is no fee for students to attend. Students receive online instruction, a computer, printer and Internet connectivity as well as supervision from state certified teachers.

Accredited by Abu Nour Institute of Damascus (an affiliate of al-Azhar University of Cairo), AMIR University offers one, two and three-year certificate and diploma courses in Islamic Studies, Islamic Shari`ah, Muslim Women's Studies, and Islamic Family Law. EcoTech Academy - Chandler, AZ, United States
We are a publicly funded, state sponsored charter school for grades K-12. We have approximately 100 students and offer Arabic as a foreign language along with Spanish and sometimes Japanese, or Russian. Language classes are begun at the Kindergarten level. Our emphasis is on conversation.
