Quran 103
Contact Hours: 45 hours / course Credit Hours: 3 / course Course Description: This series of courses is for students who wish to study Quranic Arabic. It revolves around Parts Thirty, Twenty Nine and Surat An-Nisaa2. Part Thirty comprises the verses that are recited on a daily basis by Muslims in their prayers. Students learn to understand the language of the Quran, the phonetic rules of tajweed, and are able to appreciate the beauty of the classical Arabic language. By the end of the course, students should be able to recite and understand a fair amount of verses in the Quran.
