Passes: Username and password

Every student at the Arab Academy, is sent a pass in the form of a username and a password. This pass is intended to be used by one person only. It may not be used by more than one person. It will remain active for the duration of the subscription.

Duration of Courses

1. Online Courses :
When you register for an online course, you are charged recurring fees. When you complete a course, you have to alert the system to be moved to the next level. You can do this by clicking on "I have completed the course" which is a link from the classroom page (on the right hand side of the screen). You need to spend at least one month on each course.

 

2. Study Abroad Courses:
At the Arab Academy"s intensive study abroad program, you complete a whole language level in a month. You select the month/s of study and you are charged accordingly.

Payment & Refund Policy

1. Online Courses :
Payment for our online Arabic courses is by month or quarter. Satisfaction guaranteed! You may request a refund within three days of registration. We regret that we are unable to refund for non-usage of the course.

2. Study Abroad Courses:
Payment for our study abroad courses is by month. If you change the dates of your session, kindly let us know one month in advance. A partial refund (50%) is given for cancellation up to two months prior to the start of a course. We regret that we are unable to refund after that date.

Moving on to the next level or withdrawing from a course

Option 1: Going to the next course
When you have completed a course and wish to move on to the course at the next level, this is what you should do:
- Log on to the course. You will reach the classroom page.
- Click on "Completing the course", which is a link on the right hand side of the classroom page.
- Scroll down the page and follow the link that says:: "Mark the course as completed and move on to the next level".
You will be moved to the course at the next level within 1 working day.

Option 2: Withdrawing from a course
When you wish to withdraw from a course, please do the following:
- Log on to the course. You will reach the classroom page.
- Click on "Completing the course", which is a link on the right hand side of the classroom page.
- Scroll down the page and follow the link which says: "I no longer wish to study at the Arab Academy".
The recurring payment will be stopped within 1 working day.

Proprietary Rights

You acknowledge and agree that all content and materials available on this site are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights and laws.

Except as expressly authorized by Arab Academy, you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from such materials or content.
Systematic retrieval of data or other content from this site to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database or book without written permission from Arab Academy is prohibited. In addition, use of the content or materials for any purpose not expressly permitted in these Terms of Use is prohibited.

As noted above, reproduction, copying, or redistribution for commercial purposes of any materials or design elements on this site is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of Arab Academy. Permission is granted only when certain limited criteria are met.

Every user may print one copy only of the Arab Academy workbooks for his/her own personal use. The same applies to subscribing schools. Subscribing schools and institutions need the permission of the Arab Academy to use their workbooks and they may incur charges for this.

Disclaimer of Warranties

  1. All materials, information, online courses, products, and services included in or available through this site (the "content") are provided "as is" and "as available" for your use. The content is provided without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. The ArabAcademy, its subsidiaries and its licensors do not warrant that the content is accurate, reliable or correct; that this site is available at any time or location; that any defects or errors will be corrected; or that the content is free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of this site is solely at your risk. Because some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties, these exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Arab Academy, its subsidiaries, or its licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or inability to use, this site. This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if Arab Academy has been advised of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, Arab Academy"s liability in such jurisdictions shall be limited to the extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

Upon request by Arab Academy, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Arab Academy and its subsidiary and other affiliated companies, and their employees, contractors, officers, and directors from all liabilities, claims, and expenses, including attorney"s fees, that arise from your use or misuse of this site. Arab Academy reserves the right, at it own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate with Arab Academy in asserting any available defenses.

International Use

Arab Academy makes no representation that materials on this site are appropriate or available for use in locations outside of the United States, and accessing them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
