At the beginning, I was not totally convinced of the use of the Arab
Academy's interactive material in class, thinking that they would be
a waste of precious class time. I thought that students would "play"
with them, rather than "learn" through them. However, the
result was a total surprise to me. Here is what happened:
- Students looked forward to the lessons on the projector (Arab Academy
programs) and were disappointed if such a lesson was postponed.
- Students did their homework, even before I asked them to do it.
- Students worked on their own at home, and moved forward to lessons
that I have not even given in class.
- Students competed to respond to any question in class.
- Students loved the activity on "Vocabulary: Forming Sentences"
with the new words. They competed in forming sentences and enjoyed it
tremendously.
- Year 1 students relied on themselves in reading new words. The activity
on: "Nouns & Verbs in Sentences" has helped them a lot.

1. The way the lesson is presented is very interesting.
It made many students love the subject of "Arabic" at school.
2. The beautiful and colorful pictures that are in each lesson made students
eager to read the lesson and listen to it.
3. The way the poems were read and sung made students enjoy poetry tremendously.
They now learn and memorize the poems without any effort from me.
4. The activity "New Vocabulary in Sentences" has greatly enriched
students linguistic skills.
5. The activities that students do at home, are very useful. The repetition
of sound has greatly increased the students' language levels.
6. In Year 1, the activity "Words in Sentences" has improved
children's reading skills and spelling. What is great about that activity
is that you can hide the sound and picture, and draws students attention
to the sentence. You can ask them to read it without reliance on the pictures.
7. Grammar in all years has helped children learn it in an easy way.
8. The way that grammar is introduced as of year 4, is very interesting.
It makes students love grammar, which is an area that students usually
have difficulty in understanding.
9. The program brought teachers and students, teachers and parents closer,
through the boards.
10. Students interest in writing in Arabic has increased greatly.
11. The program helps students learn the lesson quickly. I no longer needed
to spend a long time in explaining as I used to do.
