Workshops (4)

A group of Arabic language teachers from Indonesia attended a teacher training course at Arab Academy to enhance the Arabic teachers' skills, competence and performance, and to make the best use of modern technology in education. They also enjoyed visiting the pyramids in Cairo and spent a day on the Mediterranean in Alexandria.

Arab Academy hosted 12 senior Arabic Language Teachers from the Ministry of Education in order to lay down a plan for the utilization of its Arabic programs at Public Schools in Egypt.  The meetings were attended by senior officers from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

Yesterday, a workshop was conducted at Arab Academy by Dr. MBaye Bashir Lo, Professor at the
Asian and Middle Eastern Studies Department, Duke University.  Arab Academy teachers participated at the workshop.  That was the second workshop that Dr. Bashir organized this summer at the Arab Academy with the aim of discussing proficiency testing.
