History - Teaching Arabic Language Online & On Site
Arab Academy provides online and on site Arabic language programs for individuals, schools and universities from all over the world. It was founded in 1997 and is based in Cairo, Egypt.
In 1999, Arab Academy introduced the world's first online Arabic language program. In 2001, it started its Arabic Language Institute in Cairo, Egypt. In 2002, it launched its Arabic Language Proficiency Test (ALPT). Then, in 2003, it started its Teacher Training programs.
In 2006, Arab Academy increased its scope as it is now involved in the development of a global ethics certification program. It currently teaches Ethics for Educators as well as Ethics for other professions.
Arab Academy was founded by Sanaa Ghanem, a professional teacher of Arabic as a Foreign Language. She continues to serve as its President.
