1. I do not have an Arabic keyboard. Can I still use the program?

You do not need to have an Arabic keyboard to use our program. Our program provides you with a virtual Arabic keyboard that you can use. If you want to use your own keyboard then you will need to buy stickers with the Arabic alphabet, or a keyboard that has Latin/Arabic. You can order them from http://www.aramedia.com.
 
2. Do I need any special software to run the program, or to display Arabic letters?

No special software is needed to display Arabic. You only need to have a recent browser (Internet Explorer Version 6 or above, Netscape Navigator version 7.2 or above, Mozilla Firefox Version 2.0). You also need to have Real Player/ Flash Player V. 9 or above to play the sound files. You can download these programs from the Internet free of charge. 3. How can I test my computer to make sure that it has the needed technical requirements to use your program?

You can test your computer online with our "system test" to make sure it meets our technical requirements.
 
4. Do I need special software to participate in the speaking classes?
We usually use SKYPE to conduct our speaking classes (or another internet phone such as Yahoo Voice). You can dowload SKYPE for free from their website at www.skype.com, and can download yahoo voice from www.yahoo.com
 
5. If I have a technical problem, what do I do? How do I contact someone?

If you encounter any technical problems as you work through the online courses, you have two options.

1. You can post a question or problem you are having on the Technical Support and Data Management Message Board, accessible on the main classroom page.

2. You can send an email to technical support by filling in the form on our Contact Us page (make sure you select "Technical Issues" from the topic drop-down menu).

In either situation we will do our best to remedy the problem and get back to you as soon as possible.
