History
Arab Academy provides online and on site Arabic language programs for individuals, schools and universities from all over the world.
Arab Academy was founded in 1997 and is based out of Cairo, Egypt.
Key milestones for the company include:
1999: Arab Academy introduces the world's first online Arabic language program to tremendous success (now serving over 23,000 students worldwide).
2001: Arab Academy launches its first Arabic Language Institute in Cairo, Egypt, now the official study-abroad partner for 20 top university programs.
2002: Arab Academy launches its Arabic Language Proficiency Test (ALPT) - the Arabic-language equivalent of the TOEFL.
2004: Arab Academy kicks-off its Teacher Training programs.
2006: Arab Academy develops Ethics Globe, a global ethics certification program targeting companies across 56 countries.
2008: Arab Academy incubates Deraya University, the first private university in the heart of Upper Egypt.
